Aasit Kheperu
Board Certified Behavior Analysis

Aasit Walker-Kheperu is a Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) in clinical services at The Center for Pursuit. She has worked in education for over 20 years, across Michigan, Georgia, and Texas along with varying clinical settings. She holds an education specialist degree from Wayne State University in cognitive impairments, and a master’s degree in special education, along with a bachelor’s degree in English with a focus on Children’s literature. She completed her BCBA program at Florida Tech under the direction of the renowned Jose Martinez-Diaz, Ph. D. who passed away in 2020. Dr. Martinez-Diaz always imposed on his students “to channel fear, anger, and resentment into positive change for all people”. These statements and upbringing from her mother Lorriane H. Mays, Ph.D., who was also a psychologist, has driven her to pursue service.
