Charles K. Njuguna is President and CEO of The Center for Pursuit. With over 25 years of international business experience and a background in operational and financial management across the US, UK, and Africa, Charles brings a wealth of expertise to our organization.
In addition to having served on the Board of Directors at The Center for Pursuit for close to 3 years and at Character Camp for 4 years, Charles is actively involved with different organizations and is deeply rooted in our community. Prior to joining us, he held key leadership positions at Koil Energy, where he most recently served as CEO, CFO, President, and Director, focusing on complex deepwater and ultra-deepwater oil and gas production distribution system technologies.
Charles’s journey at Koil Energy began in 2012 when he managed corporate accounting activities. Over time, he transitioned to overseeing all commercial activities as the Business Manager and was eventually appointed CFO in 2017, before adding the CEO, President, and Board roles in 2019. Before joining the company, his diverse background included stints at an organization under the umbrella of the Texas Education Agency and a state-funded mental health organization in Massachusetts.
A graduate of the University of Texas Austin with an MBA degree, Charles is dedicated to advancing the mission of The Center for Pursuit. He shares our commitment to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and similar conditions to reach their fullest potential.
