T C F P Virtual Vocational Training Course
Course Information:
Through this course, you will learn the essentials to finding the job that is right for you. We will cover the importance of work, discover your unique skill set, and discuss the best job search techniques. We will practice writing resumes, completing job applications, and interviewing as well as the do’s and don’ts of each of these. You will leave this course with a better understanding of why work is important to you, what jobs are right for you, and how to find these jobs.

Schedule:
- 6 Week Course (12 class days, 24 hours total)
- Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:00am-12:00pm
Prerequisites:
- Access to a computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection
- Ability to use Zoom (or have someone help them set it up)
- Device needs a camera and microphone
- Access to a printer to print materials for class
- Pens & pencils
Skills needed:
- Entry Level Reading
- Entry Level Writing
- Ability to participate in class for 2 hours
