The Center is grateful for and dependent upon the incredible support we have received from the community through independent fundraising projects. Each year members of our community dedicate their time and energy to host fundraisers and events benefiting The Center. We are deeply appreciative of these committed individuals, businesses, clubs, and places of worship.

If you would like to join these leaders in our community in supporting our efforts on behalf of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, please contact us at 713.525.8484.

They’ve sponsored events such as:

HBA’S JOHN J. EIKENBERG LAW WEEK FUN RUN

Since 1986, the John J. Eikenberg Law Week Fun Run sponsored by the Houston Bar Association has raised over $1,000,000 for The Center with 100% of the entry fees going to benefit The Center. Not only does the Fun Run provide opportunities for the entire family, participants can sponsor a walker from The Center to take part in the fun.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS IN ENERGY HOUSTON’S CLAY SHOOT FOR A CAUSE

In 2016, the Young Professionals in Energy Houston chapter invited The Center on board as the co-host and beneficiary of their annual Clay Shoot for a Cause. This event brings people from across the greater Houston community together to support a great cause. The 2016 event raised more than $130,000 for The Center.

PETROL STATION’S GODS OF CRAFT BEER EVENT

We were thrilled to be chosen as the beneficiaries for the raffle and silent auction at this vibrant community event celebrating the founders of some of Houston’s finest breweries. Hosted by Petrol Station, a number of local breweries generously came together to provide auction and raffle items to support The Center.
