Spina Bifida Health and Community Connections Day
Come and be a part of the Spina Bifida Health and Community Connections Day on Saturday, October 7, 2023, starting at 9:30 A.M. Organized by Baylor Transition Medicine Clinic and Texas Children’s Hospital, this event is specifically tailored for families and individuals with spina bifida. It’s a fantastic occasion that combines enjoyable and informative sessions with delicious food and community resources, for teens and adults with spina bifida and their families in the greater Houston area. Topics covered include fitness and nutrition, emotional well-being, and education and employment. Admission to this event is free, so don’t miss out!
This event is funded by a grant from the American Academy of Pediatrics Society of Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics. Translation services will be available for break-out sessions.
