Ayesha Kadri is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at The Center for Pursuit. She is responsible for providing counseling/psychotherapy and Life Path Counseling services to persons served at The Center for Pursuit. Ayesha graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from LSU and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from SE Missouri State University. In the past, Ayesha has worked in higher education, providing mental health counseling, academic advising, disability services, and creating programs to assist with student success.
Ayesha was born in Bangladesh, grew up in Louisiana, and moved to Houston in 2020. Because of her background, Ayesha believes in fostering genuine compassion when meeting with individuals from all walks of life to assist in the improvement of their emotional and mental well-being. She has experience in offering mental health counseling in anxiety, depression, grief, and emotion management utilizing techniques based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. In her free time, Ayesha enjoys cooking, attending concerts, writing, and cultivating meaningful relationships with others.
